Careforce
Most years St George’s has a Careforce volunteer who helps with children’s and youth work, visits the elderly and generally helps around the parish. Careforce arranges gap year placements for young people aged 17-30 who want to serve the Lord and grow in their faith.
Alpha
What do Christians believe? Why did Jesus die? Each autumn St George’s runs the Alpha course, which seeks to answer the questions of life. It is based on nationally available material, includes a meal and lasts for ten weeks. Visit the website to find out about Alpha resources.
Traidcraft
